As an ACII Chartered Insurance Broker, co-director John Greene has over 50 years’ experience in the industry working for insurance companies and brokers throughout the UK including Ireland, London and Manchester.

John is our construction specialist, with Scaffolding, Demolition and Civil Engineering as the main clients he looks after, some of which have been loyal to him for over 30 years.

In his spare time John enjoys travel, learning foreign languages and spending time with his grandchildren.

Alan is a qualified Insurance Broker and boasts over 30 years’ experience, working for both local and national brokers, prior to starting J&A in 2009.

Servicing clients both large and small, Alan’s eye for detail and face to face service is what makes him invaluable to his customers.

Alan is a dedicated father of three and has a passion for Manchester City FC, as well as a keen interest in most sports including golf and snooker.

Having worked for local brokers for over 20 years, Michele’s understanding and knowledge of commercial insurance is pivotal to us here at J&A.

As well as being a co-director, Michele heads up our Accounts Department and offers support and expertise in all areas of the business.

A proud mother of two, she enjoys holidays and spending time with her friends.

A university graduate with over 10 years’ experience as both an Underwriter and Commercial Account Executive, Dan joined us in 2014 and his zest and enthusiasm for both new and existing clients is what makes him invaluable to J&A.

Cert CII qualified in 2009, he has a comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance and has a modern approach to business, giving him the edge over competitors.

A keen sportsman and season ticket holder at Bolton Wanderers, Dan spent 10 years as a goalkeeper for Bury FC, plays cricket for Edgworth CC and enjoys time on the golf course.

Lyndon joined J&A in 2018 after 10 years working in the summer camp industry in America. With a predominantly leadership and sales background, he was the ideal fit to join our New Business Team.

His passion and enthusiasm for sales and customer relationships is clear in his day to day attention to our clients with resounding success in winning new business.

Outside of work, Lyndon loves his TV, Film & music, with his real love being Bolton Wanderers and St Louis Cardinals baseball.

With over 25 years’ experience gained working for both insurers and brokers within the Manchester region, Ian is a dedicated Commercial Account Handler providing support and a first-class service to our customers.

His expertise of the products and online trading facilities is second to none, as well as providing back up and knowledge to senior members of staff.

Ian enjoys most sports including basketball, NFL and going to the gym.

Arguably the nicest guy in the insurance industry, Jeff Davies has over 50 years broking experience and carries not only a wealth of knowledge but a service to his clients that cannot be rivalled.

From working for national brokers and owning his own local broker, Jeff has a thorough and in-depth approach to business which is key to us here at J&A.

A lover of Manchester United, Jeff also enjoys cricket with an invested interest in Stand Cricket Club.

Jean has over 15 years’ experience within the insurance market and is our dedicated Claims Manager, giving our clients a hands-on service when they need us most.

With her friendly manner and proficiency in claims, she is a real USP for our business.

Jean enjoys family history research, reading and photography.

Gaynor has over 25 years Accounting background and works alongside Michele in our Accounts Department.

With an attention for detail, Gaynor looks after over 40 insurer accounts and provides support for our Account Executives with clients’ premiums.

Gaynor enjoys reading, painting and watching television in her spare time and is a self-declared Game of Thrones addict.
